Is Your Facility in Need of a Dry Type Transformer Replacement?

Up until the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, Liquid Filled transformers were mainly used in industrial-type settings. Since this time, Dry Type Medium Voltage transformers have become increasingly popular due to their improved insulation systems. A dry type transformer also has no possibility of leaking liquids and does not require a vault for installation in a building. When a facility needs a transformer replacement, heads of maintenance departments look to retrofit from a Liquid Filled transformer to a Dry Type transformer.
