Olsun has installed the new Bystronic 4kW Fiber Laser Cutting Machine with Material Loading and Unloading Automation for Sheet Metal Enclosure Fabrication. We fabricate all of the enclosures for the ventilated, encapsulated, pad mounted, substation and switch products at our facility here in Richmond, Illinois.
Olsun installed this year the new MTM XS600-P10 Automated Mitre Core Cutting and Stacking Line to increase the production capability for more and bigger transformer mitre cores.
Olsun Electrics has installed new equipment for its powder coat application process which has provided a significant upgrade to the overall system performance in terms of cost and quality.
Olsun Electrics has invested in two new Broomfield 450 Series Coil Winding Machines for Its coil winding operation. These new machines replace the last of the much smaller and older machines on the floor. Now, all of Olsun’s coil winding machines have the capability for mandrels up to 72 or 96 inches in length and coils up to 62 or 76 inches in diameter.
Olsun Electrics has invested in a new Amada 110-Ton Press Brake for our sheet metal fabrication operation. We fabricate all the ventilated, encapsulated, load interrupter, pad mounted and substation enclosures at our facility here in Richmond, Illinois.
