Over the last several years, a total of ten OLSUN Medium Voltage Extra Heavy Duty Traction Cast Coil Transformers have been installed on the new extensions of a Light Rail System serving a major city out West. The transformers were constructed for RI-9 extra heavy duty traction to withstand the continuous start and stop of the trains.
