Recent Projects - Natural Gas Power Plant Powered with Step up and Step Down Transformers

Five OLSUN MV Substations were shipped to a new natural gas-fired electrical generating facility (power plant) in The Great Plains. The plant will provide electrical power to oil and gas extraction equipment located throughout the region. Olsun provided two step down transformers and three step up transformers for this project.

The step up transformers are connected to the generators and the step down transformers are connected to the equipment on the company owned electrical distribution system.

Olsun has recently upgraded eight-stage baked-on powder coat paint system was put to good use on this transformer project as the customer specified a custom color for the enclosures.
